PHOTO JOURNAL

A WEEK IN ST. ANDREWS

Monday 29/11/04

The day starts late today as I slept through my alarms but I'm up by 12pm and therefore so is my trusty laptop for the mornings email checking. Not too worry too much as I haven't missed much at the lectures I gather.

Anyway, I set off for town and the post office - which is a long long way away giving that I live on the edge of St Andrews. But here are some nice shots of the long roads into town anyway!

Isn't it exciting? Along the way though there is something that would put a smile onto any self-respecting astronomers face....

Hmmm.... and that little collection is just the front of the complex as well. I hear Exeter has a dome.

Anyway so I finally got to town and had to head in through the fortified entrance of South Street.

Nice flag. They always seem to be having a blue cross sale on around here. Bargain.

So we're into the exciting metropolis of St Andrews now!

The sign on the right is for Janetta's which is an award winning ice cream shop which is no mean feat in a country this cold!

Onto the Second Page!
