"Kindness
is no virtue... and cruelty is no vice."
| HISTORY:
Back in the era of the State Games Scorponok was the champion from Kalis
which enabled him to make vast improvements to his structure including
the replacement of his hands with pincers which only helped to solidify
his position in the Games and led to several 'accidents' in the arena.
Until the second generation Decepticons left Cybertron Scorponok was merely a lower ranking officer in the Decepticon army, but in the sudden absence of all but one of the members of the Decepticon Council he saw an opportunity to improve his status. Using his intelligence and quick-thinking he rapidly rose through the ranks and then challenged Straxus for Decepticon leadership. The outcome of this remains to be seen, but Scorponok is counting a lot on his experiance from his gladitorial days and his powerful alternate configurations and as too many Autobots have learned too late, he is extremely skilled at using them. |

PROFILE:
Always striving to be more than he is, Scorponok can constantly see his
next goal beyond the current one, but he doesn't let it distract him from
accomplishing current objectives.
He is an expert tactician and a rousing speaker, Fully capable of minipulating a listening crowd to his own ends and stuffed with the shear guts to do anything he has to Scorponok is a formidable opponant. Along with a core of Officers who have sworn personal loyalty to him alone, he convinced the main Decepticon army to rebel against their present commander. Scorponok plans for the future and leaves nothing to chance. He is a great advocate of new technologies, having his engineers devise the Pretender process which gave Thunderwing his shell. He even went as far as travelling light-years back to the Sol system to board Nemesis (see history pages) in order to retrieve Combination technology from Shockwaves personal files. Not one to risk experimenting on valuable troops he routinly hunts Autobots for the sole purpose of having them experimented on. |
| ABILITIES:
Scorponok can convert into a giant Scorpion-like creature armed with four
sets of twin barralled laser cannons and a high-voltage electro 'sting'
emitted from his tail. He can also convert into a small battle platform
equipped with lasers, rockets and over-the-horizon radar. He also
posesses a remote-controlled scout-car, Fasttrack which is stored in his
right leg when not in use.
In robot mode he has great strength and his pincers are capable of curshing all but the hardest of materials. Armaments in this mode include a fusion powered anti-graviton gun and a shield made from a near-unbreakable substance that he wears along one of his arms. |

WEAKNESSES:
Being slow in scorpion mode and stationary in battle platform mode often
makes Scorponok an easy target, but his armour and weapons are usually
more than enough to make up for this.
