The U.K. version has being running for two series, with a third currently showing. It is produced by Grundy Productions, and is shown on our newest terrestrial television station, Channel 5. The adventure game show is fantastic - and highly addictable, series two being even better than the first series!

A detailed account of the game format can be found here, however the main objective of the team of five is to win the gold, which belongs to Boyard, Master of the Fort (played by Leslie Grantham - otherwise known as Eastenders' Dirty Den!). To release the gold, the team has to win keys and clues, which they do by playing games (for keys) and "adventures" or "ordeals" (whichever way you look at it) for clues. A Fort Boyard Tiger These challenges are tackled around the converted Napoleonic Fort, situated off the coast of France. The show brings out different emotions in different people - fear being the main one!

The catalogue of games is U.K. specific and complete for the U.K. show.
