Entry to the school building took place on the 4th August 2003 as planned. When the old school building had first opened, pupils and staff, led by a piper, walked from the previous older school to that one. Continuing in this tradition, staff, school board members, councillors, and pupils (many in Highland dress) were piped across from the old Queen Anne to this latest establishment.
First impressions: it was worth waiting for, but as with any project this size, there have been the inevitable few hitches. All-in-all, staff and pupils have settled in well.
