Oh, the shame! BUT, it's the only place where you can preview some sneak peak, raw, unmixed tracks from our upcoming album, and read our semi-regularly updated blog thing. Yay, fun.
Speaking of the upcoming (mini) album, it's definitely upcoming. We just have some minor touches to make on the recording, the mixing is more than half done, and we're gonna splurge and get it pressed and printed professionally, so we save some time and loads of sanity. Expect a release date of November sometime. But get a taste for it now at myspace! Hurry! 'Cause we're gonna take them down soon and put up some oldies.

of course! Both tracks - Forever Ago and Like Winter - can
be downloaded

Hello, my pretties. There's lots of former friend news you don't care
about, but is really cool to us:
FORMER FRIEND IS CHARTING. We're making the college radio charts
at a few stations! One notably exceptional station is KZSU
at Stanford. They are the rockingest: awesome djs, not to mention the
really handy search function on their website. We've been up and down
and up their charts, and they wrote an excellent, song-by-song review
of the Bill EP here.

finally sit my ass down to update our news for the 1st time in 3 months,
and I go blank. I can't remember what else I wanted to talk about. Eh.
Okay, we just started recording again for our next cd. We're aiming for
a fall release. We think this next album might generally be a little grittier,
a little harder, a little "artier" than our previous material.
Well, one thinks that. The other is simplifying even more. But ALL of
it will be really fun; what we have so far sounds great.
former friend is trying out a bass player in a couple of weeks for possible
live shows. The search has been more than 3 years in the making. We hope
this one works out. Thanks, Ryan. :)

Knees zine, Issue #19. Go find a copy and read it. We'll get around
to posting the review on our website sometime, though i don't think a
single review warrants a "press" section quite yet.

AN INDUSTRIAL GIANT. that's the name of Energy
Castle Recording Company's compilation release for the month of May
2003, and another former friend song is on it. subscribe
to this really great and eclectic comp club to see which of our songs
made it.
we axed the full-legnth idea, mostly due to exhaustion with some laziness
mixed in. real life and work and stuff really got in the way, you know?
so we're releasing another EP this fall: 6-7 songs, sweet, melodic, jangly,
thoughtful, energetic in different ways, harmonies and arrangements galore...
something to counter the post-summer blues with, we hope.
watch for the new in the next month or two.

we've also been busy recording our next full-length album, which will
