| If your lawn looks thin and unsatisfactory, we can provide you with a lawn overseeding. This can be a simple task or can get quite involved depending on the severity of the turf area. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| A simple overseeding can be as simple as a core aeration, spreading seed, and adding a good starter fertilizer. The thinner the turf the more work that needs to be done. If the thatch layer is thin or no thatch at all & the turf is very thin, we might double aerify & slice the soil open for good seed to soil contact. If the thatch layer is very thick, we would most likely aerate the lawn 2-6 times to break open the thatch layer & destroy it. This will create an abundance of core holes & loosen soil for the seed to soil contact. This would also incorporate organic material into the soil. The amount of work needed for the overseeding project would depend on a complete site evaluation. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| All seeding jobs include a high quality seed with low weed seed counts & high germination rates. We also use a starter fertilizer high in phosphorus to promote good root development. We would also straw any areas that are bare needed to be covered. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| After we complete our part of the overseeding process it is up to you and mother nature to provide the overseeding aftercare. | ||||||||||||||||||||
