There are two tribes, Calendula (red) and Landukor (silver). Eight people are on each tribe, four guys and four girls. Both tribes will compete against eachother to win the immunity idol. Whichever tribe does not win the idol must face tribal council in which they must vote one of their own tribe members off. When one tribe gets down to 5 members, a merge will take place. Both tribes will then become one, move to another location and pick a new team name. At that point, immunity is for one person only. Whoever wins the immunity necklace cannot be voted off during the tribal council that night. There are also reward challenges which might be food, taking trips and even winning a car.
