| 4 - Kuthumi "Wesak, Tibet, New Zealand and the Animal Kingdom" 7th May 1995 Good afternoon beloved beings of Light. Kuthumi with you this afternoon. It is lovely to be here, to experience your energy. We in Spirit understand that you wish to talk about Wesak. We will be of what assistance we can. It is important, however, to understand that part of the knowledge that you seek can be read in books, or can sought from Buddhists so we will talk on that aspect of Wesak that we feel is important to your spiritual path. We in Spirit enjoy the phenomenon of the Wesak event because it allows us an opportunity to make ourselves visible to those on the Earth plane and this is something that happens very rarely. Throughout the history of time very few of the Ascended Masters have made themselves visible to people, as you know, and the energy of Wesak is so great and the vibration so high that we feel compelled to lower our vibration that small amount required for us to be seen by the multitude. It is important to note, however, that only those that are Earth bound Ascended Masters will appear. What I am saying is, that entities like Ashtar are not visible at Wesak because they are not of the Earth realm. Perhaps it would be appropriate for you to ask some questions if you feel ready to do so, or I can speak a little more on the subject, if you prefer. We were discussing Buddha before. What is this energy? What is this entity and how does it relate to Wesak? What is the difference between the Buddha energy and that of Sananda? Buddha is fundamental to the phenomenon of Wesak. It is a Buddhist feast, the concept of Wesak is to celebrate enlightenment, not specifically the enlightenment of Gautama Buddha, but Enlightenment in general; although it is celebrated on the May Full Moon as this is believed to be the time of Buddha's Enlightenment. The Buddha energy is a little like the energy that you understand as Sananda. You know well the story of Gautama Buddha from his beginnings as Prince Siddhartha, so I will not take up your time to repeat a story you are familiar with. But the concept of Buddha and the Buddha energy is one of undertaking a path Home through enlightenment, whilst through the Sananda energy, it is undertaking the path Home through unconditional Love. That would serve as some form of comparison for you. What of Sai Baba? Is that the same energy? Sai Baba is a different manifestation of the cosmic energy. It could be said that Sai Baba is like a combination of the two and yet is entirely different. Sai Baba is a very highly evolved being who is an Ascended Master incarnate on the Earth at the moment - he is an Avatar. What is the difference between going Home through enlightenment or through unconditional Love? The choice is yours. The ultimate objective is to understand why we are here in this incarnation, and to return Home. Those who have chosen to follow the path of Buddha prefer a path through the mind; those who choose to follow the Sananda model are generally heart-based individuals. It is just a matter of choice. The ultimate objective is the same. So how does 'ascension' fit in? As you know ascension is the accelleration of one's vibrational frequency through the increased absorption of Light. The concept of ascension is just to facilitate the journey Home and this can be achieved either through Buddhist teachings, or it can be achieved through following the model of Sananda, or following the model of Sai Baba or by following any other model. Ultimately one will go within to seek guidance to find one's path, to find one's guru... the guru will be within. When that guru is found ascension is possible. Did we not choose our path before we came here? Ah, what an interesting question. You chose a blueprint. You chose a horoscope. How that blueprint, or how that horoscope unfolds is up to your free will while you are here. It must always be a combination. But free will must prevail at all times. This is the purpose of incarnation on the third dimension, on planet Earth. I have a question to do with our veils, and free will - how is that controlled... and what about their removal? Is that in the control of our I Am? Do we have any say? Even your mighty I Am must stand back and wait until it is called. Your I Am cannot take control until it is recognised. So free will must determine when you understand that the veils are there. The veils are drawn as you leave the birth canal during your birth process on Earth. At that moment, memory of the past is closed off to you. The object of your being here, of all these life times, is to come to the understanding that those veils exist and to find, through the journey within, how to open those veils and allow in the Light of all those past life times to understand who you are in Spirit whilst you are here. Then you have completed your journey Home. Then you have completed your Ascension. Is it then that the ceremony at Wesak celebrates this process? There is an element of that in the celebration of Wesak. We appear there and enjoy being there because the energy calls us there. That, for us, is the dance. That, for us, is the magic of Wesak. The extraordinary accumulation of positive energy of human kind that lifts itself beyond the normal bounds of reality and allows us to appear. That fills us with a sense of great wonderment and a sense of great joy. |
