Legislative Night
On February 7, 2005 MSG Reid, Andr Coates and Cadet Alexandria Coates represented Forestville Military Academy and the PTSA at the Legislative Night for the Prince George County 25th District in Annapolis Maryland.  They were able to meet Jack Jackson, Ulysses Currie, Melony Griffin, Derrick Davis, Dr. Andr Hornsby, Sheriff Michael Jackson, Derrick Green, Terry Speigner, Sharon Billings, Norma Lindsay, Kathy Mizzer, Murray Levy, Dr. Brown and many more legislative representatives.  Special prayers went out to Delegate Anthony Brown and his family from the Prince George County 25th District while he is currently serving duty over seas. The FMA representative let the legislative representative know that Forestville Military Academy and the PTSA are proud organizations that require continual support from them.  Cadet Coates informed the legislative representatives of the need for internships for the students at FMA.  Cadet Coates is currently working with a few legislatives that expressed an interest in helping FMA students obtain internships.  Cadet Coates will be updating students about future internships in the next PTSA Newsletter. All the FMA representatives were able to observe the House in session. Delegate Melony Griffin announced on the House floor that FMA was attending the House Session as she pointed out the FMA representative to everyone she thanked FMA for our support.
