    Starting a Character

    Once you feel comfortable, and have a clear idea of who your character may be, and what s/he looks like, you can describe your own character with the @describe command, as in:

    @describe me=

    As you learn more - through role-play (RP) - who your character is, you might consider making a history that others can see. This is done in a similar fashion to your description. You need to use a & instead of a @ and enter another command that allows fellow players to see it:-

    &history me=
    @set me/history=visual

    You may also want to consider a title for your character. This is an attribute which, like your description, is visible to others. It might be your characters job, or something else that is indicative of what your character does. Contact our Culture Admins (simply type -locals to see who they are) and they can set your culture or lend advice on choosing one.

    That's really all there is to setting up your character! It's important to start actually role-playing as soon as your comfortable. Feel free to ask questions to fellow players and culture admins - especially the latter - they're here to help your enjoyment of the game. :)

Roleplaying

Roleplaying is exactly that. Playing the role of a character that you have created within the theme of the game. To learn more about roleplaying use the link below.
