In conversations after the Oct. 09 candidate forum at Holy Cross School, concern was expressed as to why I have had no campaign presence at schools. Apparently it is not well known that all Trustee candidates are required to follow the new "District Protocol in Trustee Elections" which was created after the campaign problems at schools in the 2004 election. This document was given to all candidates at the beginning of the election.
       I have not campaigned in any schools or distributed any campaign materials there because it is clearly prohibited in the protocol.
        An update on my campaign....
I have 4 days left and one community (out of 29) that I have not visited.  As mentioned before, I have not got a list of Catholics in Chestermere, but we are doing some door knocking.  I will be in Chestermere this weekend at the Safeway Mall. If you see my car (signs on it ), please feel free to approach me.
