News out of Hong Kong reports that two starts of The Touch arrived Sunday, 9 Sept. and were greeted at the airport by co-producer Thomas Chung. Chung told the press that he would head to Chengdu on Tuesday and from there the shooting team will travel to Tibet.

Also making the trip, Michelle Yeoh traveled to Lhasa, Tibet with the team. The current scenes being filmed revolve around large, exterior shots involving countless extras and thousands of lamas. Yeoh is not expected to film many action scenes though she will be shooting some horseback riding sequences.

The primary concern during this shoot is the altitude. The site sits some 14,000 feet above sea-level. Yeoh said the crew carried oxygen tanks, just in case. They are slated to remain filming in Tibet for 3 weeks then will move to Dun Huang.
