Goalpost10: And in your defense, you cant play God and control the weather, but what can be done? rubberneck24: well first off I never intended to have all early games rubberneck24: that was an accident rubberneck24: but I think we really got screwed at the beginning of the year with all the rain outs rubberneck24: now I have really no choice but to have double header like this past weekend. Goalpost10: are you aware of this rumor? rubberneck24: aside from the one year bowser took over when I quit foodmaster.... rubberneck24: I think I have done a decent job doing the things that need to be done rubberneck24: like rubberneck24: getting balls, or an ump, or collecting the money, permits...stuff like that rubberneck24: its not a big deal to me and I like doing things like that Goalpost10: Definitely, people don't understand how hard it is to do stuff like that, and to be responsible for all of that rubberneck24: its no big deal rubberneck24: I think a committee will just complicate things rubberneck24: rather have me be the one that gets yelled at instead of 5 people Goalpost10: However, don't you feel that maybe it would take some of the pressure off of yourself, and allow you to focus more on your team and playing, rather than everything else. Nobody has said anything about your being kicked out of the commissionership, however people just feel like you can use the help Goalpost10: If there are 5 people, every issue that comes up will come to a definitive majority decision rubberneck24: I know there are pros and cons Goalpost10: therefore nobody would have a right to complain about things rubberneck24: I'll have to think about it Goalpost10: because people believe that lots of things that happen this league are for the "convenience" of Brian Langston rubberneck24: I don't think I do that bad of a job to have teams that have been in the league like 10 years quit on me rubberneck24: hey that the benefit of being the commish rubberneck24: plus rubberneck24: all of the coaches get certain weeks off and shit like that if the ask me Goalpost10: This is something that can obviously be discussed in the off season. How does it compare with the time you spent building up revere? rubberneck24: but all of the head coaches have been friends with me for nearly ten years rubberneck24: I like my new guys. we get along for the most part. steve o sometimes gets louder than I like but I;m used to it now. the mannings are good friends of mine and other guys like ricky, larry, and of course my boy senibaldi. but the new guys all contribute in their own way rubberneck24: we have fun rubberneck24: but we also want to win rubberneck24: I think at 5-4 we are making an impact this year. rubberneck24: we won the rubber match against damage this week and that gave us a boost Goalpost10: Was there any problems with all of those people at the beginning of the season. You have some big ego's on your team. rubberneck24: the only real problems we had is when shawn told me to fuck off because I sat him and john for 3 innings of the doubleheader we played against DI, then shawn and john quit, so I replaced them with senibaldi and paul maderia rubberneck24: I love to manage so I deal with the shortcomings Goalpost10: What about that game you played against my team, Salem II... with Keith Manning walking out on your team?
