Random, useless info:
Born in London Ontario, RNJ was a victim of the 60's Scoop; the forced adoption of native children into white families.  His family and his band were promised he would be placed with another Anishnabe family, when in fact he was taken far from his people and his family and forced to live amongst non-native peoples.

He was reunited with his family in 2006 when he returned to his traditional homelands of the Saugeen Ojibway First Nation.  Fiercely proud of his heritage he has fought to reclaim his place amongst his people.
Involved in the community, he is strongly behind many Native causes including the campaign to free
Leonard Peltier and the self-determination of all Native peoples.

Married to Laureen on September 30th, 2006 in a traditional ceremony on the Rolling River First Nation.
