| The Management at the Killer Frog Hotel does not trust the thermostat on the Hotel's submersible heater . We have determined that it would be prudent for Management to be able to control the device manually, from outside of the structure. So we have hooked it up to a rheastat. Using this device (similar to a light dimmer) Management is able to raise and lower the heat level simply by turning the knob. This is an essential piece of equipment. |

| In the Hotel, the "sun" (a full spectrum flourescent light in the aquarium's hood) automatically "rises" at 8:00 a.m. and "sets" at 9:30 p.m. This provides the Guests with a predictable schedule and allows them to have regular sleep patterns. The automation of the Hotel's "sun" is accomplished via a crude, mechanical timer. This is low-tech, decidedly NOT solid state (like the timer on the Hotel's misting system). Very easy to use. The current settings provide the guests with 14 hours of light a day. |

| We here at the Killer Frog Hotel recognize that our most important duty is to maintain the comfort of our Guests. In order to avoid being distracted by petty human "necessities" (food, shelter, income, relationships, etc.), and to keep our minds focused on more important frog-related considerations, we always carry a little plastic tinctorius with us as a reminder of our froggy responsibilities. This assures that, no matter where we are, we will always be subjected to the requisite amount of frog-related stress. |
