| 7. AUTOMATIC MISTING SYSTEM This is an essential piece of Hotel Management equipment. Because of it, our Guests enjoy a cloud-forest environment - bathed numerous times a week in a fine cool mist. This system is automated, making it very easy to maintain a constant rate of humidity in the Hotel. |

| 8. HAND-HELD SPRAYER Even though the Hotel has an automated misting system, we still occasionally need to use a hand sprayer. It's use is mostly limited to refilling the axils of our bromelides and for general forced-water cleaning (the glass, the furnishings, etc.) |

| 9. HEATERS In order to maintain a relatively constant, or at least predictable, range of temperatures in the Hotel, we have installed two different types of heater; 1) an undertank heating pad, and 2) a submersible aquarium water heater. The undertank heating pad gets stuck directly to the underside of the tank. Through the glass it heats the water in the reservoir. The submersible heater is placed directly in the water and heats according to it's internal thermostat. We have found that the undertank heaters are not really effective, at least not compared to the submersible variety. |
