Welcome to my
personal site!.
My full name
is Felipe Marti-Lopez. I was born in Havana City, Cuba, in 1953.
I am a mathematician,
1977 Byelorussian State University B Sc. and M Sc. in Applied Mathematics. As a numerical mathematician,
my current scientific interests mainly focus multi-level optimization
(hierarchical mathematical programming) and robust numerical approximations of
optimization problem solutions.
Since 1995, I
am working as a full-time researcher at the Cuban Neuroscience Center, where my research
work is to investigate new (robust) numerical solutions of several problems of
neurophysical interest, such as the one of the topographic time-frequency
decomposition of human electro-encephalogram (EEG) multi-channel signal and the
various kinds of human brain tomography inverse problems via discretization. In
FMartiCurVita.pdf you can find my “Curriculum
Vitae” information, summarized.
Recently, I
finished writing my PhD thesis, entitled “Splitting iterations for the robust approximation
of Linear Least Squares solutions in finite dimensions”. In thesisletter.pdf
you can find its text.
