| Radio Signal Modelers Flying Club February 2006 Newsletter February 6, 2006 The February 2006 meeting was called to order by President Mike Mietus at the Elmwood Park Fieldhouse. Approximately 15 members were in attendance. Secretary Ted Noncek presented the minutes of the January 2006 meeting which were approved by the club as read. Treasurer�s Report Treasurer Terry Gombert presented the Treasurer�s Report for the month of January 2006. At the end of January, the club had a cash balance of $359.17. Membership dues in the amount of $520 were received during the month of January, and no expenditures were made. As a result, the club�s cash balance at January 31, 2006 was $879.17. The Treasurer�s report was accepted as presented. 2006 Club Membership Dues Being Accepted All members are reminded that the annual club membership dues of $35 per person, $5 per additional family member, are now being accepted by Treasurer Terry. Feel free to pay at next month�s meeting, or if you will be unable to attend, mail your dues to Terry Gombert, 4825 N. Bell Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. Members are reminded that it is necessary that your AMA membership dues be current in order to use the field. Christmas Party � February 24th at Great Escape Restaurant in Shiller Park Everyone is invited to attend our annual Christmas party again this year at the Great Escape Restaurant on February 24th at 7pm. The Great Escape Restaurant is located at 9540 West Irving Park Road, Shiller Park. The party last year was a lot of fun and we would like to get as many members attending as possible. We have had to put down a $150 deposit to hold the room, and if we get less than 30 attendees we will get a $50 charge. Please RSVP by returning an e-mail to Ted Noncek, or call Sally Gombert 773-561-8249. We had a total of 24 RSVP at the meeting, so if you already told us you are coming you do not need to call or e-mail. The dinners were very good and reasonably priced and we plan on having door prizes. Come and have some good cheer with your fellow RSM members. |
