| 24.02.06: On with it ... Yup it's taking a bit longer to finish the new recordings but over the next few weeks there's going to be some hardcore sessions to get on with it ... Skinboat venture out of the recording unit next friday (3rd March) to play at the Next BOM-night @ The Archers, Barnsley. | 11.03.06: BOM was a blast ... Skinboat made a special appearance at the BOM-night 3rd march @ The Arches and a good entertaining night was had by all. Support came from The Caines and the legendary Andy Shades ... for more pics and info :> clicky clicky ... and now Skinboat are holding off to get this next recording nailed and mastered. Meanwhile keep an eye on myspace for some of last year's DVD vids making appearances in comment boxes and spam everywhere ... |

| 29.04.06: Lost in Lost and space ... Update: Last gig was at the 'union' all dayer bank holiday at the Arches (17th April) ... and .. o ... surprise, skinboat are back at the Arches monday 1st may for an appearance at Tim Graham & John Bower bank holiday birthday gig/bash with superfreak and hot rod deville, plus other special guests.... The new demo is ... very near to completion, with final mixes happening over the next few weeks ... new choons to appear on myspace as soon as ... Meanwhile the boat's next next appearance is at The Tyne Bar, newcastle - mon. may 29th Also, keep an eye on myspace for other bits 'n ' pices ... |

| 27.07.06: Now that's a gap in history Well well, as per usual we've let our info slip and after a few months gap here's a pick up ... As if anyone bothers with this bit, when there's gaming, flash animations, myspace and porn on t'internet ... Answers on a postcard ... as for 'apathy' i cant be bothered to explain .. So a few gigs later and the mighty roar of bomfest passed last weekend ... there's so much to say on the subject, its best to have a nosey onthe main bom forum ....> Check out our pics or bom myspace but especially our myspace cos we got a bit of footage up there ... | 08.11.06: Been gigging ... Oh yes ... the skinboat late show have been out and about for the past month or so, wanging entertainment, c.d. and badgers (pirate-core badges) about the area. It's been good fun and got a few new fans in the process, and some more gigs ... Issue 2 of BarnsleySoundbites is knocking about and there's a sweet feature ' cooking with skinboat ' ... like the pirates we are - the recipe is completed with heavy drinking and a little bit of wee ... | 13.11.06: Mo gigs and Xmas ... |
| It's Xmas time and there's no need to be afraid ... It's getting all yule at the moment with a few gigs left to 2006 for Skinboat. It's been fun and there's been many gigs, spreading the pirate-core with love, glue and pirotechnics.. Early 2007 Skinboat are setting sail to record the debut album onboard Unit 9. 10-12 tracks of anomalies and voyages in space and time looking for futuristic treasure. Keep eye out for the odd gig in feb then more into the yearand hopefully some more festivals and outdoor doin's ...
