Bumble Bee

Busy, busy, bumble bee
Heading out to flower sea
Dressed in black and white and yellow
When not disturbed he is quite mellow.
Buzzing here and buzzing there,
Collecting nectar with great care,
He flies around in his great dance,
Willing to help if given a chance.
Spending hours making honey
He gets the bee farmers lots of money.
Busy, busy, bumble bee
Heading out to flower sea.
Adorned in black and white and yellow,
He's a friend to every fellow.
Dolphin of the Sea

The dolphin,
Strong and majestic,
Powerfully swims through the ocean
Its sleek form
Cuts through the water,
So quick
And smooth,
That the ocean is not disturbed,
But is left
Clean and glassy.
It heads toward the
Barrier between air and sea.
Confident and proud,
It breaks the surface,
A gray bottle rocket
Striped with black
Defies gravity as it heads up into the air,
Five feet.
Ten feet.
Fifteen feet.
It twirls,
Showing off its snub nose,
Muscular body,
And tail flukes,
As the sun's rays reflect its smooth, wet skin,
Only to slip gracefully back into the water,
Not making a sound, splash, or even a ripple left to show
Its previous presence.
Grinning, the dolphin resumes its swim
Until it is ready
To perform again.
Grizzly Bear

A large hulk of flesh,
The grizzly bear is covered in
Dark brown fur
Which barely conceals
His rippling muscles,
Strong enough to take down
A human, a horse, or a moose.
The bear lumbers along trails clumbsily,
With poor eyes to guide him
He must stand up on his hind legs
To get a whiff of the crisp air
To make sure no danger is there.
He drops by Blueberrie Hill
To have a feast.
He eats his fill
(Which is 20 more pounds of blueberries
than he will ever need to eat)
He is now quite fat,
But this is good.
For winter is coming,
And he won't be inside of a
Warm bed like you and me,
But probably somewhere like a cave
Or a sycamore tree.
Josey

Soft brown with gray,
A black little nose,
Long ears that hold shape on her head.
One up, one down
They disco around,
Giving us laughs all day long.

Milk chocolate eyes and a fluffy white tail.
She hops around on the ground,
With her beautiful body and
Bright shining fur.
She is a delight
When she's seen during
Morning, noon, or night.

Morning stretches followed by kisses
Provided by her tiny pink tongue.
She's loving
And caring
And gorgeous to me.
The best bunny alive in the world.
Smoky

My cat smoky was a grand fellow.
His body was black,
But his left ear was yellow.
His tail was brown
It twitched around.
His eyes were green,
His paws were white.
My cat smoky died last night.
