Flyboy

Captain Christopher “Jumping Jack” Walters was a test pilot for the
United States Air Force. He was already working with the USAF testing
new aircraft developed from Rikti Drone technology. The problem was
human beings were unable to withstand the G forces exerted by the
aircrafts maneuvers, and the pilots would loose consciousness during
combat runs. The normal High Pressure suits were of no use as well.
Captain Walters jumped at the opportunity when he was advised of an
experimental serum that might strengthen the human body and allow
him to pilot one of the craft.
Entering into the program he was injected with the serum and his body
monitored and studied. The changes were slow at first. It started with
plasm oozing from his pores and an accelerated heart rate. It took time
and practice to learn to project the plasm into energy bolts. In addition he
learned that he could draw electrical current out of others, literally locking
them into place with their own nervous energy. Once he learned to control
these abilities, he was approached by the Department of Home Land
Security and offered a place in their newest department, the Office of
Supernormal Affairs. Captain Walters accepted and took the name of
Flyboy, the codeword first used by the Army to designate pilots in WW II.
He was teamed with Pat Riot and Amerikana and formed Team Freedom.
