8/17/01 - Dented Passenger Side Rocker Panel
This dent is a bit bigger than the one on the other side, but still pretty superficial, especially since I'm going to be getting some diamond plate rocker panels to cover it up.  This one happened while descending a really nasty, rocky part of the 676 trail.  My spotter was standing on the side of the trail and he didn't realize the danger as I was approaching the rock due to his lack of experience. As I heard the crunch, I asked "how bad is it?"  Quinn was standing near by and said "Just fucking go, you're not going to make it worse!!!"  It's definitely time for some rocker skids, I'm tired of denting my rockers!!!!!!!!
9/2/01 - Scraped Right Rear Corner
This damage is really no big deal, no dents, just some paint missing.  I was on the Naches trail climbing out of a huge rut, but I kept getting high centered on my T-case skid plate.  So I tried to get out of it by climbing my left front tire up the side of the rut, but I didn't have enough flex to get out.  When I went to back out, I rubbed the sidewall of the rut nearly ripping off my tail light.  Needless to say, my plans for adding OYR diamond plate corners have been moved up in priority.  Ya, I know it's a crappy pic, the camera was set for macro......but you get the point.....
10/20/01 - Blown Right Rear Shock
Well, I can't believe it took me over 4 months to fix this little bastard, but I"ve been busy feeding my addiction for snowboarding.  After pulling out the old shock I've decided to add "new exhaust pipe" to my list of mods.  The custom bend in the pipe leaves it too close to the shock.  Minor rubbing occurs where the piston goes into the can that eventually caused a "bend" that lead to the leak.  Hopefully Truck Farm and Trail Master won't notice so I won't get charged for the new shock.  After replacing the shock, I noticed squeaking coming from the rear...the new shock was rubbing on the tail pipe again.  As a temporary fix I used a die grinder to shave off some of the pipe.
6/12/02 - Dented Oil Pan
All I have to say is be carefull when letting friends drive your Jeep, unless they are really familiar with the concept of "ground clearance".  Or, if a friend says, "dude, I've got an oil pan skid plate for ya" make sure the bastard gives it to you before another friend slams your oil pan into a rock.
8/10/02 - "Customized" Front Bumper
Too busy staring at the awesome view of Mt. Rainier, I didn't see the tree jump out in front of me.  Good thing I didn't chop the ends of the bumper off like some JACKASSes, or it would be time for a new fender.

What the hell was my co-pilot doing??

DAMMIT VERN!!!
