About my brother SRIKANTH with whom I play a lot of Duets.

Venkatraman Srikanth ,disciple of Vidwan H.K. Narasimha Murthy of Mysore,is a  `B-high' graded artist of All India Radio. He started learning Violin at a very young age  and  gave full fledged stage performances at his 15th year.

He has gained rich experience by accompanying great stalwarts like Dr.N.Ramani , Mandolin U.Srinivas , K.S. Gopalakrishnan , Sangeetha Kalanidhi R. K.Srikantan , Trichur Ramachandran , Sudha Raghunathan , Neyveli Santhana Gopalan , Vijay Shiva , P.UnniKrishnan , Ashok Ramani,  and others & received their blessings and appreciation.

Srikanth is a recipient of cultural talent search scholarship of
Government of India, achieved distinction  in the Senior Grade Music Examination and won Gold Medals in Thyagaraja memorial compeitions of Kanchi Kama Koti Mutt.

Srikanth  has won a number of prizes,accolades and appreciations from Rasikas and Critics for his great control over Layam,Command over the instrument and specialisation in the field of Ragam, Tanam, Pallavi.  He has also won the Parur Sundaram Iyer Award for violin playing in the Gokulashtami Festival concerts of Sri.Krishna Gana  Sabha, Madras.  He has also  performed at Narada Gana sabha, Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Karthik Fine Arts Sabha,Shastry Hall,  etc., during the Madras Music season.

Srikanth is now undergoing intensive training in the  intricacies of violin playing.
Srikanth is looking forward for great achivement in the field of carnatic music.
