V.K. Raman let his concert take a course that
served well artistically and aesthetically. Irrespective of whose composition he was handling, he made it extremely musical and expressive and bringing to bear on his interpretation a sweetness and sensitivity of tone that proclaimed his deep understanding of the music. A refined tonal quality pervaded the entire concert and peak of the performance was touched in Yadukula Kambhoji with some captivating gliding sancharas.
