My parents took these.
"Maria......." The summer band plays (while the oboe players sing) West Side Story, with guest conductor, Mrs. Runfola. I keep wanting to call her Miss Flagler still! =) There is no picture of the band performing under the baton of Mr. Lehner, because I'm pretty sure my parents fell asleep during "Morning Noon and Night"....like half the band did. hehe
Go Piccolo! Here's Tino, Deanna, and Yours Truly chirping out the annoying piccolo solo in "Stars and Stripes". I played lots of wrong notes in the OP concert, but nobody heard....or cared. I managed to play this one right, though! See, that's why we had 3 piccs...playing at 900 decibels is just more fun when you have more hell-raisers at your side. And yes, I know, we are not centered with the stage. Blame Deanna....hehe. And yes, that is a small child conducting the band. What surprised me is that he actually kept the beat.
First you saw us standing; now, watch us as we slouch on uncomfortable wooden and/or ugly brown plastic chairs! Now that's a talented band!
