"Meet" the band directors!
Hey look, it's Eicher, Vitello, and Stroth!
This is Mr. Vitello.
Mr. V conducts the symphonic band at the high school. He is really good at conducting, and my piano teacher thinks he's cute! =) But sometimes Symphonic band got a little boring. Hey, nobody's perfect! When me and my friend Katey got bored, we just analyzed how he was acting or what he was wearing to figure out what kind of object he resembled that day. We had a long list of what he was for each day, and because I don't feel like writing them all, I won't put them up here. The best loved ones are as follows - Tomato, Clam, Turnip (the 3 original ones), a Clamato (a cross between a tomato and a clam), Jello, The guy who tries to catch the smurfs, Rhinosaur (rhino and dinosaur), Pidgeon, and Sphinx. Altogether, we have over 50 things that he was certain days. And that's not all we did in Symphonic. Oh no. Me and Katey would also communicate from across the room (she plays sax and I play flute) by drawing the letters in the air and/or mouthing them. We always thought Vitello couldn't see us, but, he did...he just didn't say anything about it. =)

This is Vitello wearing the kilt that the girls lacrosse team made him wear since they won some special game. I couldn't pass up an opportunity to photograph him in it "for the webpage". Heehee.

This is Mr. Eicher.
Mr. Eicher is a truly interesting man. He conducts the Wind Ensemble, and there is never a dull moment...ok I lied but...=) Mr. E usually tells us stories about random things that somehow tie in to the music. Most of these stories are pointless, but entertaining nonetheless. More to come on Mr. E!
Could this be a relative of Mr. Eicher? I don't think so.
