Chlorophyll fluorescence is the main subject of my Ph.D. research work at the University of Geneva. So, this site describes the progress of my research work. That's the main reason of creating this web page.

I guess you are here because you are directly or indirectly interested in plant fluorescence. Anyway, in case fluorescence is not an interesting topic, this site is devoted also to Photosynthesis, and you know, photosynthesis keeps most of life forms in this planet going on, so if we run out of plants we run out of oxygen, therefore we do not exist anymore... unless we found a way to produce oxygen to cover the whole planet demands, we are deeply depending on the ability of plants to produce not only the whole oxygen in Earth, but the primary food source for many other living beings including us, humans.

I want to share with you some ideas and knowledge, compiled software and source code, links, and documents about fluorescence, a scientific field that is already an important tool in plant research. Why? well, I guess that this site could be useful for somebody looking for first hand information, instead of going around surfing the whole internet, as I did, in order to compile the information that now is piled here in a only and safe place, and thanks to Geocities free web hosting services.
