DIRECTIONS FOR POSTER:
Poster
Your poster must be on art paper or poster board. You will loose 10 points for not having your poster on art paper or posterboard. The poster board can be any size but must have enough room for your pictures with descriptions and your title.
Choices for Poster
You need to choose to do a poster on ONE of the following groups of Indians.
1. Tainos (of Puerto Rico) Boriquen is the native name for Puerto Rico.
2. Aztecs They are also known as the Mexica. They spoke Nahuatl.
3. Incas They spoke Quechua.
Title
If you do not have a title on the poster, you will loose 5 points.
Your Name
Map
1. You need to find a map showing the area where these natives once lived. You may use a general
map of modern day Latin America and then highlight the areas where these natives once lived. I highly recommend that you check out an online or CD-Rom encyclopedia such as Encarta for this information especially if you have chosen the Incas, the Maya, or the Aztecs.
Pictures/Drawings
(i.e. a symbol or picture of a god)
(You must type these or write very neatly)
**Two of these pictures/drawings must come from the Internet. If you need to use the computer lab at school, please see me ASAP (as soon as possible)!!!!
4. I also have some books that you may want to look at.
