2: I Flowing Tears  hanno trovato la nuova cantante!

Helen Vogt è ufficialmente la nuova cantate dei Flowing Tears , dotata di una voce potente e profonda, sembra sarà all'altezza di Stefanie. Attualmente la band  è impegnata in alcune date  del nuovo tour e  a terminare il nuovo album che sarà  in uscita verso settembre - ottobre.

3: Stefanie Duchene ha lasciato i Flowing Tears..

Stefanie  non è più la cantante dei Flowing Tears....ha scelto  di dedicarsi alla sua vita privata e quindi non è in grado  di far parte della  band...

 

4: nuovo album in vista per il 2003!

Il gruppo sta preparando il nuovo album che  dovrebbe uscire entro quest'anno

Dovrebbe  essere oscuro di Serpentine e  globalmente più pesante...

 

5: il nuovo album  uscirà il 21 gennaio 2002! (new album will be out the 21 of juanuary!)

L'album si chiamerà Serpentine! Questa è la track -list  prevista:

5: Flowing tears sono in studio (more news on the new album....)

the band will be in Woodhouse Studios/Hagen/Germany from September 3rd on to record the new album. Producer will once again be Waldemar Sorychta (Tiamat, Samael, Lacuna coil...) - Working title for the album is "the serpent people"the band will write a studio diary - watch out for the diary being published in the next weeks"

6: novità sul nuovo album (news on the next album)

The new album will be produced by Waldemar Sorychta (producer of JADE) once again. The recordings will take place at Woodhouse Studios in Hagen in the end of August/beginning of September.In the first weeks of July the band will be in Bochum working on the final pre-production together with Producer Waldemar. an album title isn't confirmed so far, but at least some song titles: "Starfish ride (for a million dollar handshake)", "Justine", "Children of the sun", "Portsall (departure song)" and "Merlin"

7:Benjamin Buss rivela i contenuti delle prime 4 canzoni del nuovo Cd.....(Benjamin Buss speaks about the new cd...)

So far we have 4 songs nearly ready - and 4 songs which are quite different from each other: the first one (still untitled) is definetely by far the fastest Flowing tears song ever, and besides maybe the shortest(3minutes),somehow it is like "Flowing tears punk"haha....it´s a very living song, the most heavy one we´ve written so far, it was a completely new feeling for us to play an agressive song... we played that song on some festival gigs during the last weeks, and it was a strange feeling to play such a song, but somehow interesting - we´ll see if it finally will find its place on the upcoming record....The 2nd one will deinetely appear on the record: the most depressive and atmospheric piece of music we every played, but not in a way anyone would expect: it´s very very silent, and somehow has a subtile touch of something like a french chanson, very basical, with Fender Rhoades piano and treated flutes, maybe the best comparison would be Nick Cave - we didn´t play it live so far, but we´ll do so soon - at least its a song we all have a very close reationship to...anyway: it can definetely be labelled as "untiypical" and something no one would expect us to sound like...be surprised. Still I haven´t decided between two song titels, it will either be called "Departure song" or "Portsall"...besides I´m very proud of the lyrics to that song...Next one still isn´t finished as we are trying a lot of different version of that song: the song is called "Seven", will become the opener of the next CD and the basic of that song is a very very heavy , grinding, slow and...hmmm...nearly "brutal" riff.... I was experimenting to distort a vibraphone and after a long night alone with my Sampler I had that unbelievable sound, and that riff.... that song will become quite "dark" but not in that Gothic way of being dark, more in a nearly "morbid" style....The 4th song will be called "Enfants de la lumiere" and is also quite untypical for us, we use very deep stringed guitars for that song and besides quite a strange rythm - very simple, but somehow something like a hymn - or at least it could become one :-)... Ok, so far my comments to the ideas that are ready so far... in general I can say that the next CD will be everything but NOT "Jade Part II", but very different, without forgetting who we are - we still use the same basics, but I think now we dare to try to go some different ways, other ways to express melancholy than just that one way we had so far, besides we allow ourselves to express more than melancholy.. .anger, happyness, frustration, hope,there´s so many more to be discovered that it would be sad to focus on just one direction....but no panic: it will definetely sound like FT!!!! Some adjectives to describe what I have on mind for the next CD:

- more living

- much more atmospheric than JADE

- much more personal and intense than JADE

- more "open" than JADE Ok, thats all I had in mind concerning the new stuff at the moment.

We still are about to diescover what to try and how to expand on the new CD...

8:notizie sul nuovo batterista!(e info sul nuovo cd)-(new Flowing Tears drummer and info about the new cd)

Well, in the meantime we have rehersed quite a lot with a new drummer, so that now we´re sure that he will fit into FT: his name is STEFAN GEMBALLA, he also plays in my 2nd band Red Aim, so I know him for years, he´s a great drummer as well as person, so it was obvious to try it with him - well, it works, so from now on he´s the one behind the drumset in Flowing tears...
Concerning keyboarder: we won´t look for a keyboarder right now, as me and our livesoundman (and former keyboarder some years ago) David Buballa will do the keys & sample stuff togehter.In addition to that we will work with some real strings on the new album, a cello and a viola is for sure, more will maybe be added...

9:uscita del nuovo cd ritardata all'autunno:-(the new album will exit in Autumn)

Our label is just about to check some possible producers - we have one really big name as possible producer - and if it should happen that we work with him, we won´t enter studio before June what would mean the album would come out in early Autumn.... first of all now, we´ll play some liveshows as support to the Gathering on their current tour here in Germany to check out some new material live.... well, at least you can be sure we´ll play quite a lot of new stuff at the WGT...

About the album: no, we still have no title...but some songtitles are: Children of the sun, Merlin, Portsall, Orchidfire, and some more funny working titles such as: "punkrocksong", "doomsong", and "heavymetal!!!!" :-), more news on that will follow soon!!!!!
