The Joke
They said it was a joke,
God, I didn't laugh.
They made Jenni choke,
God, on her peach half.
They made her laugh,
God, she couldn't breathe.
They tickled Jenni's calf,
God, don't let her leave.
They didn't go for help,
God, please let her be okay.
They knew that when she yelped,
God, she'd live another day.
Siblings
You cannot help but love them,
though oft you'd rather not.
Sometimes you'd like to kill them,
they get you in trouble alot.
You let no one pick on them,
they're yours only to beat up.
Sometimes you're even nice to them,
when they can't quite reach the cups.
You don't know how you feel 'bout them,
when what you get them's not cheep.
Sometimes you can't help but love them,
when they're fast asleep!
Confusion
Even roses have their thorns,
prickling sharp on dewy morns.
Ups and downs and turned-arrounds;
that's the way life is.
Beauty is only skin deep,
true beauty really isn't that cheap.
Ups and downs and turned-arrounds;
that's the way life is.
Things can be seen different ways,
you may despise harsh sun rays.
Ups and downs and turned-arrounds;
that's the way life is.
This one makes little sence. Please don't ask, I confused myself.
Dragons
Everyone knows that dragons are real,
Out there biding their time.
They'll come for aid or revenge,
To prove their believers are right.
They were all driven away,
When we stopped believing.
But they're out there,
Waiting for us to come to.
For us to remember them,
So they can be our friends again.
They appear normally for little kids,
And for those pure at heart.
If you really want them back,
You too, must do your part.
You must believe in them,
And them believe in you.
Then, and only then,
Will everyone see the truth.
In a Book
I wish I were in a book,
With 'happily-ever-afters'
And tales of sweet love true.

I wish I were a heroine,
Maybe a fairy princess,
With a knight in shining blue (armor).

I wish my life were perfect,
Or shall soon be at an end,
With romance, drama, or trigity too.

I wish I were in a land,
With no trace of true-world sorrow,
like 'prince charming' not noticing you grew.

I wish I were in a book,
With 'happily-ever-afters'
And tales of sweet love true.
He Hates Me!
He hates me,
I know it!
His actions alone show it!

I'm uncool,
Sure, it's true!
But am I really that bad?

I've tried hard,
To be cool!
Just to satisfy him!

But I'm me,
Can't help it!
I've got to be myself too!

He's too nice,
To say it!
I just know he hates me.
