| That's Hawai'i down there!! |
| As we were up with no place to go, we went out to breakfast. We got home quarter to 11:00, and thought we'd give it one more shot. I checked the 'Net, and saw that Aloha Air was flying out of Las Vegas, which is a four-hour drive from Santa Ana, CA. We figured, hell, let's just DRIVE and fly from there. I called Aloha Air and found that flights from Vegas were on standby, BUUUUTTT... they had a flight out of John Wayne Airport leaving in ONE hour. JWA's just 15 minutes from our house - WE TOOK IT!! Despite the fact that we were supposed to be there an hour before the flight, we took it. Our bags were packed, so what the hell.... We were off to Hawai'i!!! |

| We nearly didn't make the trip. We were originally booked out of LAX on the Sept. 13, but due to the terrorist attacks on Sept.11, travel was tentative. We were told by Pleasant Holidays (the company we booked thru) to check back with them on Sept 12 in the afternoon - we called, and LAX was closed. Then, we were told to check back on the 13th at 4:00 AM - still CLOSED!! |
