This is a stick built free flight electric assembeled by Jay and I. It was hastily put together from some plans I drew up during a slow day at work. Power came from a very tiny electric motor (6v) coupled directly to a prop from a rubberband kit. We initially used four small button batteries to run the motor. Though the plane exhibited excellent flight charateristics, it was under powered and the batteries failed quickly. We switched over to a 9v cell for more power but it added unwanted weight and died quickly as well (2-3 minutes flight time max.). Overall, performance was less than stellar, but we can say we were flying electrics planes back before electric planes were cool!!!
