Hikaru No Go Summary (vol 4)
Volume 4
The volume starts with the inter-school competition. With their own skills and efforts, Metani, Zutsui and Hikaru defeated their opponents with 3 to 0  score. Akira, on the other hand won easily but conserving hie efforts for the last battle with Hikaru. During the lunch break, Hikaru announced to Sai that he would challenge Akira in the next round without his help. But upon overhearing the conversation between two seniors of Akira's school, Hidan (the senior who had helped akira previously and the first player of the girls competition team) and Kishimoto (the first player of Akira's team), Hikaru decided to let Sai play instead as he couldn't bear disappointing Akira after the latter had made so much effort to play with "him" (actually Sai).

However, at a crucial ex-change in the battle of Akira and Sai, Hikaru interrupted Sai's move by making his own move. After Sai had considered Hikaru's move, he understood the strategy he had as well as his ability though with Hikaru's present skill, he could not make the best of this move. Akira, on the other hand was extremely angry at discovering Hikaru's skill. He left in both disappointment and anger.

So in the end, Hikaru's team lost to Akira's team with 0 to 3...

It was summer holiday again. News that Akira was going to take up the professional Go test were spreaded.

Hikaru and Zutsui were going to see a Go seminar. But at the very beginning, Hikaru got tired and left the talk (to Sai's dismay). Outside the seminar, he discovered a way to let Sai play chess without anyone knowing... on the internet. While watching a boy play, Hikaru noticed someone that goes by the nickname of "Zelda". And so he was fully absorbed by the introduction given by the sales person till Zutsui finished the seminar.

The next day at the Go club at Hikaru's school, upon hearing that Metani had an elder sister working at a net cafe, Hikaru rushed to start playing net Go. He entered "S-A-I" as Sai nickname ...
With Sai's skill, he soon defeated many people including many amateur Go players. In this way, the net Go began to arouse their attention towards the name "SAI". During one of those games, Hikaru found "Zelda" and chose him for Sai's next opponent. In his childishness, after Sai had won the game, he had asked Metani's sister to help him type a message to "Zelda" : " I am very strong, right?"
The message "Zelda" return was "Who are you? I am a in sei!"

Zelda, real name Oya Yoshitaka, was a "insei", a student in Go whose aims to be a professional player. At this time, he was taking his preliminary professional test with Akira. During the test, he had discovered Touya Akira and that Akira was his next opponent. Henceforth, increased his dislike for Akira, because he lost to him.

The 20th Amateur Go Competition started. Oya's teacher in Go, Morishi ku dan had asked Oya to come to help him. There, Oya found that there were many amateur players who were also looking for SAI. Oya managed to find a computer and link online to find this SAI. At this moment, Ogata and Akira came. They had listened to Oya's explanation to the other people who were looking for SAI the reasons why he believed SAI was a kid. Ogata and Akira thought of Hikaru immediately. So Akira used his name AKIRA on the net Go.

On the other side, Hikaru, out of curiosity, picked AKIRA as Sai's next opponent. After playing a few exchange, Akira and Sai recalled their second game. Hikaru upon knowing this told Sai not to place his seeds as previous or his identity would be exposed. Akira, however, resigned immediately and requested SAI to meet on another day for the game. After asking Metani's sister, Hikaru set the next game on the coming Sunday much to the disappointment of the rest of the people who were wanting to know the real identity of SAI.

Oya was however, dislike Akira even more since that appointed date was the first day of the actual test. As expected, Akira did not turn up for the test. He was seating in his room waiting for his opponent, SAI to appear...
More on Japanese
Notice that i have used Touya Akira instead of Toya Akira here?
Actually there is no difference really in the japanese language. If you were to translate those japanese character one by one, you would have come out with Touya.
But as i know, normally the japanese would write Toya with a bar on top of 'o'. This is to represent that the 'o' sound was prolonged. i do think japanese can be a little tricky to learn since you do have to remember things like that... i used to write out Tooya in japanese character before i know of this.

So related to the other words like "Arigato". It is actually written as "a-ri-ga-to-u". Okay, that's about it.
