Im going to first start with telling you why I have created this page.
well last week I purchased on ebay a flip flop"KIT" for a 94-00 cavalier and since my 99 fit purfect into this catagory I went ahead and paid the man used buy now for $20.
well $24 after shipping well a week later I recieved a envelope from jimmy lee containg 2 door hinge brackets 11 self tapping screws 13 washers and a note to email him for directions.
well thats a really good deal you know $20 for $3.00 worth of parts from home depot(my old job)
well after a week of emailing him again and again, I finally got a small file containing the DOC file with the instructions and a couple pics (of a accord not a cavi)
well needless to say the few pics were hard to read and looked nothing
like my trunk ,
also the brackets in the pic were the type that
look like 2 triangles not the type triangle 1 way and square the other well
unfortunately the one I got was useless. but atleast I could use the screws and washers. I hope
well heres where the big problem comes in my trunks bars are under the first layer of metal so the method i see used in these directions is useless to me.I have an idea for mine well see how well it works later but forget mine for now but heres some usefull info for you.
Now after I purchased my kit I started looking on the net likely someone had posted directions for such a simple thing well I ended cumming up with 3 pages in the first 30 hits so here they are..amazingly link one has mostly the same diaghrams as my emailed instructions from ebay
