Flight horizons is a non profit organisation providing flights in light aircraft for people who live in full time care and have a disabilty or terminal illness.
"Working within care homes I have seen too many times how people with disabilities can be set aside with their activties ranging from watching TV to local walks - if there is enough staff. Any out of the ordinary wishes are dismissed due to lack of funding, staff or even just dismissed as foolish because of who has had the idea.
