South Korea has four distinct seasons. The Summers are very hot and humid, while the Winters are cold and dry. The Springs and the Autumns, which normally end very fast, supply a welcomed relief from the extremes caused by Summer and Winter, for normally these "quick" seasons offer good weather. The rainy season (Changma) starts end of July and lasts until mid-August and the usual consequence is the flooding of the low areas. |
