Rumours night again.

Same linup, the T, HMC, AF and me.  Had the most disgustingly vulgar talk on the way over in which I argued against their boycott.  Boycott of what?  You don't want to know.  Crazy things have been happening at the Meat Market recently, not all good, not all bad.  We managed keeping Nestle out of our hair for most of the night, I saw an old girlfriend from high school who I haven't seen in four years and may never see again since she's moving, lost about ten pounds in sweat, congratulated my Working Class friend O'Toole on getting his union card, they played the Cars, almost got into another fight, and had one very crazy girl bark at us.  The highlight of my night, other than the Slurpee stop afterwards, was when these two girls tried to fuck me on the dance floor during the Ramones.  Is there no respect?  I started screaming "No Time For Girls!  This is Punk Time!  No Time For Girls!"  Oi Oi!

You may have missed it in the first journal entry, but I am designing a
real website, and that real website has a real cartoon.  Nothing like a little self-promotion to brighten one's day.

Lastly, it seems like I'm the last to know, but in case you haven't heard, there will be a new Degrassi series in the Fall.
Degrassi, (hehe) The Next Generation.  Good?  Bad?  Who cares.  I need some Canadian melodrama.  At the very least, we are having a party to commerate the premier movie, especially since, get this, Snake, Joey, Spike and Caitlin will be in it, Bruce McDonald of Roadkill/Highway 61/Hard Core Logo/Dance Me Outside/Twitch City fame will be directing, and Kevin Smith of Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing Amy/Dogma/Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back/Rewrites on Coyote Ugly will guest star as Caitlin's boyfriend.  Bizarre.

It was raining a little when I got home.  I hope it pours.  My puppy can't take much more.

This cartoon's fighting technique is unstoppable

In other news, my brother's coming down on Monday for a 2 week stay, culminating on our annual trip to the comic convention in Toronto.  I should buy a camera for the event, but I'm afraid I need the money for...other things.  Go on, guess.

William Shatner is going to be at the con, but I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to see him. These Trekkie (and, yes, I do prefer Trekkie to Trekker) things always end up costing a little spendola.  Still, I had a smoke with Kevin Smith two years ago, so we'll see what happens.  Maybe me and Kirk will go cruising!  Hai-ya!

This journal entry, which has nothing to do with the present day, has been brought to you by my supreme kata.
