Lorie and Amy got into a HUGE arguement, so Lorie, Rusty, Halee and Chloee, all left and went back home to Pittsburgh.  While that was going on, Dan was at work and got in trouble for doing the website instead of his job and got fired...April Fools...got you again!  Seriously, Rusty took Coral, Chloee and Halee to the beach and played in the sand in the afternoon.  Later on, Lorie finally beat Halee in Monopoly, so the next game starts tomorrow night.

April 2, 2002
Dan was at work while everyone else was home swimming (with the exception of Ian), so after Dan got home, we ate and then had some visitors.  Carol (Dynamac and Bionetics' IT person), Emily (Carol's daughter and Amy's replacement, while she is on Maternity Leave), and Jen (Rehab Works' Intern) came to visit and meet the kids.  After bed for the kids, Dan, Amy, Lorie and Rusty watched "The Score".  We all enjoyed the movie and Amy gives it 1 1/2 "long winks", but Ian wouldn't even let her have that many.  Dan even added some Pictures...sorry not Ian, yet.

April 3, 2002
Rusty took Halee and Chloee to the beach while Coral was in school, Jordan was at daycare, Amy and Ian were doing laundry, and Dan was at work.
After dinner, Rusty, Lorie, Coral, Halee and Chloee went to Dairy Queen.

April 4, 2002
Not much going on today...work, school, swim, dinner, Friends, Survivor, bed.

April 5, 2002
After work, we all went to the St. Mary's (Our Church) Fair...we ate first and then did some rides.  Dan and Amy even got the chance to ride by themselves, but the ride made them sick,
so that was the last one of the night for them.

Happy 1 Month Birthday to Ian!!!
Ian Update:  He is doing great (besides a little congestion) and getting big...
he now weighs in at 7 lbs 8 oz and is eating 4 oz every 3 1/2 to 4 hours (give or take an oz).
After gymnastics, we all spent the day in the sun and the pool on this near perfect day.

April 7, 2002
Did you forget to set your clocks forward?  We didn't, but we still missed church...oh well, we'll get back to church next week.  Another georgeous day spent outside...it was a little on the chilly and breezy side, so not much swimming was done today.  After the kids we all tucked in, we watched "The Fast and the Furious".  After a slow and boring start, Amy and Lorie both felt that the picture redeemed itself a little bit by showing more action packed scenes and getting a little romance involved in the movie,
but Amy still only gave it 3 1/2 "long winks".

April 8, 2002
The launch of STS-110 went off today, so Dan and Amy watched it with Ian while Rusty, Lorie, Coral, Chloee and Halee took a break from shopping for bathing suits to watch it from Cocoa Beach...
Jordan was at daycare.

April 9, 2002
Not much going on today...just added a Picture of Dan at the Awards Ceremony.
Click HERE to see it or just go to the Work Pictures.

April 10, 2002
Coral and the Stroups took a trip to Animal Kingdom for the day...they all enjoyed themselves and had a good day.  After Dan got home from work, he, Amy and Ian went to talk to the "snip-snip" doctor...Dan will only be fruitful for another 3 weeks, so if you need some "fertilizer", now's the time to ask him for it!  After the appointment, they picked up Jordan from daycare.

April 11, 2002
Today was Ian and Amy's baby shower at work...Dan was also there along with all of Amy and Dan's co-workers and Coral, Halee, Chloee and Lorie.  Ian got some really cool stuff!

April 12, 2002
After work, we all went out to celebrate the end of a good vacation for the Stroups at the Alamo Resturant...the food was good and so were the kids.  The best part was how we beat the dinner rush...we walked past them all as we left.

April 13, 2002
Today, the last of the "5 weeks of help" left for Pittsburgh, so most of the day was spent putting everything back to were it belonged, except when Coral and Amy went to gymnastics.

April 14, 2002
Happy Birthday to Coral's Godfather, Eric!
This was the first time that all of the Florida Remberts, including Ian, spent the entire day together at the Bolton Bed and Breakfast without any guests.

April 15, 2002
Happy Tax Day!  Did you get yours done in time?
Today was Ian's due date...needless to say, the day was a lot less eventful.
The only thing to report is Amy cut Dan's hair...woo hoo!

April 16, 2002
To celebrate the fact that yesterday was Ian's due date, we took him for his circumision.  The minor operation went very well and Ian is fine, in fact, he is up to 8 lbs 9 oz.
Make sure to check out the Pictures of the Baby Shower.

April 17, 2002
Amy had her first day alone with ALL 3 kids today...so wish her good luck!  She also had a doctor's appointment later in the day, but it got cancelled.

April 18, 2002
Dan got his teeth worked on again before work and had to go to some meetings still not feeling his lower lip and talking funny...but no one seemed to notice a difference.  After work and dinner, Amy went to Anderson's Open House to see what their kindergarden is like...this is definitely our second choice behind Gardendale, which we will find out about tomorrow.

April 19, 2002
Today was a day filled with firsts...it was the first time that Ian went to daycare and it was also the first time Amy ever golfed.  Ian and Jordan went to daycare, while Coral was at school and Dan and Amy were at the LSSC Golf Outing at La Cita Country Club.  Amy golfed with Carol, Emily (see the April 2nd entry for bios), and Shannah and Dan golfed with Erik (from Rehab Works) and the Food and Beverage Manager for La Cita, Roy.  Amy left a little early to get the kids and check on some NEWS about Coral's schooling for next year...we found out that Coral will be attending Gardendale Elementary, our first choice.

April 20, 2002
The Bolton Bed and Breakfast staff was very happy to get a new helper this morning...an automatic pool cleaner, the Navigator, was bought to keep the pool clean and help eliminate back pain.  While the "new technology" was busy cleaning the pool, Dan and Amy could clean the porch and parts of the house and then take a dip in the clean pool.

April 21, 2002
To celebrate the hot weather and the warm, clean pool, we had a little pool party with Shannah, John, Krista and their kids, Tuffer and Erin...with John's famous 'ritas.

April 22, 2002
Happy Earth Day!!!
Nice hot day for it too...we even did a little swimming after Dan got home from work but before dinner was served on the back porch.

April 23, 2002
Today was the first day of the Environmental and Energy Awareness Week at Dan's work.  It was close to 90 degrees, so it was kinda hot to be outside.

April 24, 2002
Day 2 of the Environmental and Energy Awareness Week was also a big hit, but Dan is now glad that the "festival" is now over!  Remember, just one more week left to bid on Dan's "fertilizer"...the latest bid was $45,000 for a quart...can you beat that?

April 25, 2002
Coral had a doctor's appointment today to check her hearing...her ears are getting better, so she can stop taking some of her medicine.  Jordan and Ian are both doing great, also...Jordan is doing more talking these days and even putting some sentences together, while Ian is eating great and getting HUGE...
he is probably over 10 lbs now.

April 26, 2002
Today was an exciting day for Dan...he went on a helicopter ride at work!  It was really cool to see Kennedy Space Center from above.  We even went by Playlinda Beach just north of KSC...this is a clothing optional beach and there was some skin showing on this day.

April 27, 2002
Today was work day at the Bolton Bed and Breakfast...we cut the grass and did some cleaning up around the house.  After the work was done, we did a little swimming on this very hot day and then eat some pizza on the back porch.

April 28, 2002
Amy and Coral did the church thing and then Amy left Dan with all three of the kids while she went shopping.  She had to get some new clothes because she will be returning to work in a week...she is ready to get out of the house and back to "normal" life!

April 29, 2002
Just two more shopping days left for the "magic" that helped create such beauties as Coral, Jordan and Ian...the final offer was $123,000 for a quart.

April 30, 2002
Amy, Coral, and mainly Jordan, had a doctor's appointment today to find out what is the cause of the rash they have on their respective faces...turns out that it is genetic and occurs mainly in females, that is why Dan and Ian have stayed clear (excuse the pun) of it.  The Manions came to visit for the week so Pap could meet his grandson.  Later on, Dan and Amy watched "Training Day"...they both thought it was an awesome film, but keep the kids away from the brutal truth.  Amy gives this one Zero "long winks" and had no problem staying up for this one.
