Happy 9th Birthday to Coral!!!
Just like the day before, it was Jordans team that did not have practice this evening, but this gave us a chance to celebrate Corals birthday in style.  We observed her birthday at Beef OBradys and the kids were great.  Later just before bedtime, Amy came home from Phoenix and greeted everyone with hugs and kisses.

Happy Birthday to Doug!!!
Before Amy could get comfortable in her own bed, we packed up and headed to Ron Jons Resort for a couple nights and Corals birthday party.  We arrived in our 1 bedroom villa on the first floor of the main building (our regular timeshare is a beachfront unit) at about 7 PM and walked around to see what we had in store for the next day.

September 3, 2005
Today was Corals party day, so we got up, decorated the room, and prepared for our guests.  Everyone showed up right around the same time, which was good logistically.  John, Erin, Tuffer, Shannah, David, Sierra, Emily, and Lauren all joined us at 11 AM by the pool for some pizzawe had some no-shows because of sicknesses, also.  Right around 2 PM, the rain clouds rolled in so we went to the room for cake and presents.  After the presentation ceremonies were completed and as the rain poured down, the guests went to the playroom and movie theater at the resort.  As you can clearly see, it was nice to have it at Ron Jons because there was plenty to do in both good and bad weather.  After everyone left, we ate at the Caf and then had an evening swim without ever leaving the property.

September 4, 2005
We woke up just in time to check out of the resortwith the excitement of yesterdays long day, we all slept until 9 AM and then were rushed to make the 10 AM check-out time.  This was our first official use of the property and get full use of the Ron Jon funnow we cannot wait to use our week next June!  Once we got home, we caught up on some chores and relaxed around the house.  Amy showed signs of missing her house by cleaning it in a nesting sort of way.

Happy Labor Day!!!
The rain filled day forced us to mainly stay inside and relax yet again.

September 6, 2005
The root of all the rain finally showed its face todayTropical Storm Ophelia.  This storm is not expected to become a hurricane, but will dump a bunch of rain on the east coast of Florida as it follows up the coastline.  We cant talk about this storm without talking about Hurricane Katrina, which had been avoided to this point.  This has been a terrible and horrific week of news on TV and basically anywhere you look because of the flooding and wind damage in New Orleans, Mississippi, and Alabamawe pray for the survivors.

September 7, 2005
Ophelia is really dumping the rain on us...she stalled about 70 miles off our coast and caused Coral's soccer practice and Dan's grass cutting to get cancelled.

September 8, 2005
Hurricane, hurricane, go away...come back another day (actually make that never!).  Just look at yesterday and then switch Jordan's name for Coral's and you are caught up.

September 9, 2005
Ophelia is now back to tropical storm size and is heading out to seahopefully that is the last weve seen of her!  Because it was indoors, the kids attended the only extracurricular activity of the weekgymnastics.

September 10, 2005
The sun came out today and we took full advantage of the low humidity that came our way too and we completed our much needed yard work.  Later, the Taffer kids came over to swim and then Coral went over their house for a sleep-overshe was delivered by Amy, Dan, Jordan and Ian while on a nature walk around Copperfield.

Happy Patriot Day and Happy Football New Years Day!!!
Amy took Jordan and Coral to church and then had a parent meeting while Coral and Jordan went to CCDJordan enjoyed her first day at CCD and showed off her findings and Gods creations from the nature walk (this was her homework).  Amy then came home and took Ian, Jordan, and Coral to Erin and Jessies birthday party at the Shaffers.  Midway through, Amy then took Ian to another birthday party for a friend from his preschool.  Dans day was summed up in one wordFOOTBALL!  Dan (the realtor friend and a Steeler fan) joined Dan to watch the big Steelers win and an awesome start to the 2005 season (fantasy and real)!

September 12, 2005
We will keep this simple...we got back to the grind today.
We were finally allowed to post the BIG NEWS.

September 13, 2005
Two of Dan's oldest and dearest friends from the S. Linwood posse lost loved ones recently, so please join us and keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  Tim lost his father on Sunday and Tina lost her mother today...our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your families.

September 14, 2005
Dan picked up Coral and Jordan for Corals first soccer practice in a long while.  After that, Amy and Ian awaited at home with a big dinner.  Later, Dan and Amy finally caught up with the rest of the Lost fans by watching all the repeats this summer with the final episode from last year, which wrapped up everythingwe are now hooked and cant wait for this season.

September 15, 2005
Jordan had practice this evening.  Dans cousin Matt arrived this evening for the weekend and joined Elaine and Whitey, who are staying for a week, at Cocoa Beachour first visitors in a while.  Also this evening arrived the new Survivor season.

September 16, 2005
Coral and Ian had field trips todayCoral to the natural history museum and Ian to the farm with all the animals.  Dan had a field trip of his ownhe spent the day with Matt to catch up on current events and see the sights of Cocoa Beach.  Later, Amy joined a few of her friends out on the town at Applebees.  They were supposed to go to other places, but got too busy chit-chatting, they never left their seats.  While Amy was out with her friends, Aunt Laney, Uncle Whitey, and Matt came over to see the house and visited with the kids.

September 17, 2005
Happy Birthday to Shannah!!!
We started the day off with Dan and Amy going to the Savannahs Golf Course and they played in the LSSC (our contract) golf outingDans team of David (Shannahs husband), Eric (Amys co-worker at RehabWorks), and Robby (Erics friend), ended the day at 3-under and Amys team of Shannah, Carol (remember her from the Arizona trip), and Ashley (Carols daughter) ended the day early after 10-holes.  After the game, Elaine, Whitey, and Matt joined the rest of the Florida Remberts at the LSSC family picnic at KARS Park.  There were kids games, food, and lots of beer to help cool off the families on this warm, sunny September afternoon.

September 18, 2005
Amy once again took Jordan and Coral to church and CCD and then did the weekly grocery shopping at Publix.  Soon after they got back, the Rusts came over to watch the Steelers whip-up on the Texans (and more football afterwards) and have a little party with snacks and swimming.

September 19, 2005
Amys world was filled with 13 hours of workafter last week, which she spent updating the database, now she has to play catch-up with her normal duties.  That left Dan large-and-in-charge with the kids who had many stories to tell because Coral and Jordan went on a field trip to the planetarium with the kids in their classes.

September 20, 2005
Rita, the next named storm, is grazed the south of Florida and sent some rain and winds our way much like Katrina did a few weeks agowe hope that the final outcome of this hurricane does not match the one that came with Katrina.  Later, Amy or Leadfoot McFastpants spent another evening away from home because she had to go to traffic school to alleviate the fine of the speeding ticket she received on her way home from Phoenix.

September 21, 2005
After school and work, it was Gardendale night (a portion of the bill goes to the school) at Beef OBradys so we packed up the family and met some friends for dinner.  Later, it was the season premiere of Lost that caught our attention and kept it for the entire hourwhat a show!

September 22, 2005
With rains yesterday and today from the back-end of Rita, we had no soccer practice on those days either.  This gave us a chance to catch-up on some household duties.

September 23, 2005
Jordan and Coral had a karaoke party after their half-day of school to celebrate the end of the first 9-week period.  After all the kids had their gymnastics classes, Dan and Amy got some grub from Chilis to celebrate the end of the week.

September 24, 2005
A day filled with soccer and birthdaysfirst it was Jordans game, which the entire family attended.  Next it was home for a quick break before we separated and Amy took Ian to a birthday party and Dan took Jordan to Corals soccer game.  We then met up again at the house and Amy took all three kids to Laurens birthday party at the Taffers.  Dan stayed behind to get some work done and watched the conclusion of the exciting Penn State game, which they won with a last minute heave for a TD.  Later, Dan went to lighten the weight of his pockets at his poker game.

September 25, 2005
Amy finally caught up in taking turns and took Jordan and Coral to church and CCD and then shopped at Publix while Dan and Ian worked on the yardDan with the lawn mower and Ian with his Bigwheel.  After lunch, Ians friend from school, Jordan (and his mom and brother, Tommy), came to play with him and Jordan (Ians sister).  They stayed until the Steeler game, which was a complete disappointment.  The only good that came from that experience was a nice family function after Coral got back from playing at Laurenswe shared pizza by the TV and watched the game.

September 26, 2005
Jordan and Coral started their break from school at daycare, but not to worry, they will have many activities to do during the break...today it was fun with gardening.

September 27, 2005
After work, Dan picked up Coral and Jordan and headed to Cocoa Beach for a make-up game for Corals team and soon met by Amy and Ian.  It was nice to not fight the heat of the mid-day.

September 28, 2005
A day after a game, Corals team followed their performance up with a good practicethey will be a strong team soon.  Later, it was week two of season two of our newest favorite show, Lost.  We are officially hooked and would like to hear from all of you that are in the same boat (not the one the Michael and Jin built).

September 29, 2005
It was Jordans team that practiced and looked good todaysoccer sure keeps us busy!

September 30, 2005
After another busy evening at gymnastics, Amy went to a baby shower for Ms. Lindsey (Ians pre-school teacher last year) at Destiny.  Dan and the kids just hung out and watched TV.
