The Zigzag Spiderwort is a relative of the Western Spiderwort. This speciman was obtained from Prairie Moon as a second year bare-root plant. It was planted in our prairie about two months before this photo was taken. Note the tender baby Giant Ragweed nestled beneath the sheltering foliage of the Zigzag.
