In the second growing season of our native planting, the entire area turned white in June as thousands of Yarrow plants began to robustly bloom. By the same time the next year, the Yarrow was less dominant but still abundant. Yarrow has antiseptic qualities and was used as a dressing for wounds by Native Americans.
