New England Aster

Aster novae-angliae

As summer comes to an end, the New England Aster's purple blossoms provide balance to the yellow Stiff Goldenrod blooming everywhere. As the coneflowers and Black-Eyed Susans wane, the asters make us hope the warm weather will last awhile longer.
