David looked over his shoulder at Planet. They locked eyes. David softly said, "Earth." Planet smiled and walked in front of Kwame. He looked him over and lightly chuckled. Sweat beaded on Kwame's forehead. Suddenly two huge stones shot from the ground. They looked like two parts of a boulder split smoothly down the middle. Kwame's eyes darted between the two stones. His eyes settled on Planet.
The rocks slammed together and Kwame was no more. Wheeler looked at the two stones and began to shudder. David said, "Fire." Wheeler jerked his neck around and stared at David. Planet moved between them and his eyes met Wheeler's. Wheeler turned away and stared at Linka. Tears ran down her face and she began to sob. Wheeler's gaze turned to his lap; he could not stand to look at her. Everything they had shared before, everything they would. It would be over. He nver got to tell her how he felt. He spun to look at her and mouthed, "I love you." Linka began to sob and flop around as she suffered convulsions.
Planet's eyes began to glow red. Wheeler looked into them. Sudenly the eyes shot out heat blasts that struck Wheeler's midsection. His flesh began to burn as he died painfully. It wasn't long before Wheeler was dead, but the blasts countiued until there were no remains of his body.
