| In Wheeler's hut, we find Wheeler watching a video tape of his own music videos he made by his boy band trio, The Power Is Yours. In one video, Captain Planet, Kwame, and Wheeler were driving eco-cycles along a Texas highway. Then in another video he made at the beach had him and Kwame sporting some Guts Swim Briefs. Wheeler liked Cap's guitar solo as well as Kwame's tympani ending. Then he went to his computer and checked e-mail. He mostly got fan e-mail from teenybopper girls who had a crush on him and his music. Some of the e-mail was for Captain Planet and Kwame. Kwame entered with his aluminum drumsticks in his hands (he doesn't play with wood drumsticks at all). "Wheeler," Kwame said, "we need to talk." "What's on your mind, Kwame?" "I think it's time we should let the girls and Ma-Ti into the band. I like this boy band thing, but we are a team first." "Man, I don't want the girls in the band," complained Wheeler, "and Ma-Ti's not grown like we are. That's what makes this boy band so cool!" "There's no reasoning with you!" said Kwame in disgust. "At least tell me why!" "I got my reasons. Let's practice. But we better call on the Cap Man!" Wheeler used his special five-jewelled ring to summon Captain Planet. Captain Planet appeared with his electric guitar in hand. He strummed his guitar and... "Captain Planet, I'm a hero. Gonna take pollution down to zero!" sang Captain Planet, who then played a cool guitar solo. The band had their normal practice getting ready to release their debut CD. After practice, Kwame took a break, then went to plant some trees. Captain Planet talked to Wheeler. "Ever since you got that special ring, you've worn me out with having band practice, music videos, and concerts. Wheeler, I'm a super hero, not a rock star." "You can be both, Cap," said Wheeler. "The Ninja Turtles are both super heroes and rock stars as well as The Super Cool Brothers." "Who?" asked Cap. "The Lawrence Brothers (Joey, Matt & Andy) as super hero rock stars in a fanfic series also written by the author, Larry. Man, that's a shameless plug." "Wheeler," Cap said, "I think it's time you and I ought to go on a trip. Hold on to me. First I gotta make the guitar disappear." Cap's guitar disappeared. Then Wheeler hangs on to Captain Planet as he headed outside, then cried, "The Power Is Yours!" Cap and Wheeler disappeared down into the ground and about 1,000 feet below, to the Land of the Lost (sorry, wrong show), Wheeler discovered that Captain Planet actually had a home. Wheeler was amazed about Captain Planet's pad. Part 2 |
