untitled
I wished upon a star that fell
Cold and bleak and beyond Hell
From flow and Time to me insane.
Like losing dreams, that bleed my brain.
Still as foolish, I would follow
That star's flamed hair to my own sorrow.
It lures me down to all Earth's roots
To the act of "I wish" from where all shoots.
From a place in past I see the dawn of morrow.
God flares once and away, the sight leaves me fallow.
The star escapes me; I am too lame
I cannot chase it on the starry plain.
My feet, mind nor flesh, cannot catch so well
That fallen star, for it was me that fell.
