Love and Hope Ball 2004 - News from BGQ
Barry Gibb will perform a set of classic songs, accompanied by an
orchestra, at next year's Love and Hope Ball, which will be held in Ft
Lauderdale on February 28th. The Love and Hope Ball is an invitation only
event for the benefit of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
While Bee Gees fans are welcome at this event, and the DRIF would love to
accomodate everyone, they have only limited space. Therefore the DRIF
will send invitations first to those fans who have previously supported
the DRI by attending the Ball. After the DRIF have heard heard from them
(in a reasonable time period ), they will make any seats left available
to potential new attendees. You will be informed of the procedure to
apply for those seats in due time.
Bee Gees Honored at 45th Annual Grammy Awards!
The BeeGees received The Legend Award at this years Grammy Awards. This is not an annual award but only presented now and then to artists for what they've achieved over the years.
The show was broadcasted by CBS Television and aired to an international audience of over 2 billion in 180 countries on February 23rd, 2003.

Barry has confirmed (even though some in the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation aren't aware of it yet!) that he will perform at the next Love and Hope Ball, their 30th Anniversary Love and Hope Ball,
which will be held on February 28, 2004 at the Westin Diplomat Resort, in Hollywood, Florida.
We'll have more details for you on cost, how to obtain invitations, etc. Please do NOT call the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation at this time!
So more details about the Love And Hope Ball soon. Especially regarding the whens and hows of the Love and Hope Ball. BGFC
will work with the organization to coordinate the fans' attendance, and Terri already talked with them and knows that they are welcoming the fans to be there!

Steve and Gloria have named their baby Nina Lyn Levas Gibb as reported to the Department of Births.
Barry and Linda are now the proud grandparents of a baby girl (9 lbs. 14 ozs), born on December 27, 2002. The proud parents are Steve and Gloria Gibb. Steve is the oldest son of Barry and Linda. Congratulations to both the parents and grandparents!

The Gibb Brothers have left Left Bank Management which had been their business management. What new business management they are using for the future hasn't been dediced yet at this point. They of course still have their personal manager in Miami Beach as always.
