Everyone saw the media blitz that GM and other manufacturers had at the last few months of 2001. 0.0% APR is something you just can't pass up! On top of that, this car had been part of the Oldsmobile Golf Scramble at Disney World and therefore had 507 miles on it the first time I laid eyes on it. Still considered a new car with all the new car benifits but with a BIG discount!
It was fate that brought this car to our garage and I am so thankful for that!!!
My father-in-law had this car for many years (since 1990)and took super good care of it. Then he decided that he need some new wheels. He made us a sweet deal on the car and it was going to be my wife's daily driver to replace the above mentioned Maxima until the Intrigue came along. Now we have 2 cars that we can split time with and keep the milage even between them. Come on guys, you know your wife wants to drive the new car and you get the old one. This no longer is a problem sive the old one is a Lesabre!
Remember, I am a Oldsmobile man. I have to tell ya though, this really is one good car! It has the Buick 3800 series motor. This thing will run forever if you keep the oil changed in it. For a nearly 14 year old car, it has a very responsive throttle and super smooth ride! Change the wheels and tires and it will definately not be a "grandpa" car.
