Table of Contents Procedures
1. Go to Auto Layout
2. Choose Blank Layout (Begin at step 2 and skip down to step 5 when using  Windows XP)
3, Click OK
4. Click on Insert
5. Choose Text Box
6. Place the inverted T in the upper left hand corner of the slide
7. Left click and hold
8. Drag the inverted T down and across the other side of the blank layout
9. Release the left click
10. You now have a text box
11. Using your tool bar, center your cursor and type in the title "
Table of Contents"
12. To go to the first entry in your table of contents, simply press the enter key. (Note: Your text box will open up automatically each time you press the enter key)
13. When finished your entries, click out of the text box.


Adding Entries to your Table of Contents (Procedures)
1. Access your table of contents slide
2. Place the cursor behind the last word you typed and left click
3. You should now have your text box bac to continue new entries
4. Follow same procedures above for closing the slide
Creating a Slide (Procedures)
1. Open program by clicking on the Icon
2. Click on blank presentation
3. Click OK
4. Click a desired layout
5. Click OK
6. Click on Format
7. Choose desired text and alignment
To Insert a Picture
1. Click on Insert
2. Go down to Picture and Click
3. Choose desired picture type from drop down menu
4. Insert Picture
Set up Custom Animation
1. Click on Slideshow
2. Choose Custom Animation
3. Click on title of your animation
      A. Click on Animate
      B. Choose (Automatic/Mouse Click)
4. Automatic Choice
     A. Choose desired seconds after previos event
     B. Choose Effects
     C. Click on drop down menu to choose animation event and sound for each event
     D. Choose Preview to view slide animations
     E. If satisfied, choose timing and follow the procedures above for other text and object

5.To view your slide in normal mode, click on View and choose Slideshow (Option-click on slideshow icon on the buttom tool bar)

6. Save slide using normal procedures

Set up Custom Animation  (XP Procedures)

1. Click on Slide Show
2. Choose Custom Animation

3. Click on title of your animation

     A. Click on Add Effect
     B. Choose Effect Type
           1. Entrance(animation at the start of the slide)
           2. Emphais(what you want the animation to do)
           3. Exit(animation at the end of the slide)
           4. Motion Paths (how the animation is to move across the slide)

4. Choose Start
     A. On Click
     B. With Previous
     C. After Previous

5. Choose Direction
     A. Vertical
     B. Horizontal

6. Choose Speed
     A. Very Slow
     B. Medium
     C. Fast
     D. Very Fast
