Here is my' '55 Chevy, 210 4 door sedan. Its 6 cyl, 3 speed manual may be small, but sure wins for being original.
This car was bought brand new by my father in 1955.(Click here to see what competition had to offer) In 1968 he got a new Pontiac but kept the car on our farm. I was then 12 years old, and me and my brother were allowed to drive the car on the dusty private road on the farm, warned to not exceed 30 mph. My Chevy received a new paint and body repairs in 1980, and then return to public roads. Also, it is not a canadian model, but was from Flint MI plant. Still into the glovebox are the original sale contract, warranty policy and even the salesman business card. |
