Before Network '86: was called Route 31. On 6/15/86 Route 31 was split up into Route 75 (167 St. Terminal AKA Mall at 163rd Street to Miami Lakes Tech) and Route 19 (Mall at 163rd Street AKA 167 St. Terminal to MDCC- North campus. In 1991 the route was reunited.
Currently not Wheelchair accessible, uses 7000 and 8000 Flex's mostly.
ROUTE 75 is a candy cane shaped route that serves the Carol City area on NW 175 Street, a mostly two lane street that is residential in nature. It is officially a North-South Route, since (suprisingly) it actually spends more time going up and down than right and left. A typical north/westbound trip runs out of the MDCC North campus on NW 27 Avenue and 119th street, and it actually heads east first, going past Miami Avenue to West Dixie. This is why this leg was called route 19, referring to NE/NW 119 St. The bus heads up West Dixie Highway and later NE 16 Avenue to The Mall at 163rd Street (The timepoint there is officially known as the 167th Street Terminal, this is because about 89% of the bus stops, which ring the perimeter of the mall, are at the back end, on NW 167 Street. There are others on the East end, NE 15 Avenue, and on 163rd, and the west end, NE 12 Ave.)
After leaving the mall, it heads to Miami Gardens (183 St.) on 15th Avenue, then west on MGD to NW 7th, where it goes up to 199th St, west to 12th, then straight down to 175th, except between 183rd and 179th where it goes on 14th Avenue. Then it's west on 175th to 57th Avenue, South to 156th St, west to 59th Avenue and into the Tech School.
Weekends there is no service on the 19 leg, so the route is an East-West route,, but officially it is still a North-South route. Don't know why,and I'm not sure I want to know why.
The last two northbound trips don't actually enter the school, ending just after it turns onto Southbound 57th, at 173 Drive. The last south/east trip on weekdays ends at the mall.
Once upon a time cut out trips ended at NE 2 Court and 183rd St, this is where Northeast Division is. Appropriately, the garage occupies the northeast corner of the intersection.
